If you think the 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump, you’re not alone. The only problem is, if you’ve ever dared to ask certain questions about election irregularities, the Democratic Party dubbed you an election denier and a threat to democracy.
Yet time and time again, we’ve seen that the same Democrats who were outraged by anyone who questioned the results of the 2020 election seem to have no problem denying the results of elections when Republicans win.
For example, as we speak, Sen. Bob Casey (D-Pa.) is refusing to concede the election he lost on Election Day.
But that’s okay, according to Bill Maher, he just wants to make sure “all the votes are counted.” During Friday’s episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher,” he got into a spat with Mary Katharine Ham, after Maher claimed that had Trump lost the 2024 election, he’d refuse to concede and be in the courts trying to change the results of the election.
“What I'm asking is you know that if Trump had lost the election, right now we would be talking about the votes that are still coming in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, and he’d be in the courts, and we would be all in a tither,” Maher said. “One side accepts election losses and one side doesn't. This asymmetry cannot continue.”

“Hold on,” Ham said. “Bob Casey, Democratic senator in Pennsylvania, is doing exactly what you're saying, where he's looking for all these votes in trying to—in Bucks County commissioners are saying we need fake ones, we need to get all the ones that are unregistered—”
“No, they’re just counting them.”
“No, that's not actually true,” Ham pointed out.
She’s correct, by the way. We have evidence of Democrat officials blatantly violating the law in order to count illegal votes.
“They’re just counting them,” Maher continued to insist.
“That's not actually true—” Ham shot back.
“It is,” Maher claimed.
Eventually, Ham called him out for failing to acknowledge that Democrats have zero moral high ground when it comes to denying election results, pointing to the 2016 and 2000 elections.
“No, they didn't,” Maher claimed. “No, they didn't.”
Maher, of all people, should know that the left absolutely did. As I pointed out last year, Maher said he believed that Al Gore actually won Florida in 2000, and believes that Russia stole the 2016 election for Trump. Over 60 Democrats boycotted Donald Trump’s inauguration, claiming he colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election—a claim thoroughly debunked by investigations from Robert Mueller, Michael Horowitz, and John Durham, none of whom found evidence of collusion. Despite this, prominent Democrats including Hillary Clinton, Karine Jean-Pierre, and Nancy Pelosi continue to assert that Trump “stole” the election.
Even Joe Biden is an election denier. During his 2020 campaign, he agreed with a supporter who called Trump an illegitimate president, and previously suggested Al Gore won the 2000 election. Kamala Harris echoed similar sentiments. And don't get me started on Stacey Abrams.
Disputing election results isn't unique to one party. Democrats just spin their election denialism as wanting to "count every vote." What they don't say is that they want to keep counting them until they "find" enough votes to win.
