“Andy’s office” McCabe continues on his media tour

I am running out of adjectives to describe McCabe. Is he brain-damaged? He believes it’s possible that the RUSSIANS ordered Trump to fire Comey. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I guess it’s not surprising those are the kinds of bureaucrats who work for the fedgov, especially if you remember that moron Sally Yates at the DOJ who thought incoming NSA Lt. Gen. Flynn violated the Logan Act by talking to Sergey Kislyak, the RUSSIAN ambassador, before Trump was officially sworn in. Yates knew exactly what was said between the two since the spooks monitor all the foreign spies diplomats. (Meanwhile, John Kerry is legit shadow-negotiating with the Iranians, hoping that Trump will lose in 2020 and we can pick up where the Obama admin left off on the nuke deal, my sources tell me.)

Last night on Martha MacCallum, Trey Gowdy cast doubt on McCabe’s claim that the Gang of 8 was briefed on whatever crap investigation was being conducted against Trump. It’s a must watch. One important point: McCabe knows participants in the Gang of 8 briefings can’t talk about the meetings so Nunes or Paul Ryan can’t respond to any misrepresentations McCabe is making.

Covington Catholic student suing WaPo for $250M

Attorneys for Nicholas Sandmann, who appeared in a deceptive video designed to stoke anger against Trump supporters and circulated via a variety of media outlets, is suing the Washington Post for $250 million.

Attorneys for Sandmann filed the lawsuit Tuesday, accusing the Washington newspaper of engaging in a “modern-day form of McCarthyism.” The lawsuit also blames CNN and NBC, “among others,” for taking part in the smear, but it does not take direct legal action against those outlets.

“The Post wrongfully targeted and bullied Nicholas because he was the white, Catholic student wearing a red ‘Make America Great Again’ souvenir cap on a school field trip to the January 18 March for Life in Washington, D.C., when he was unexpectedly and suddenly confronted by Nathan Phillips, a known Native American activist, who beat a drum and sang loudly within inches of his face,” the lawsuit says.

The Post ignored basic journalist standards because it wanted to advance its well-known and easily documented, biased agenda against President Donald J. Trump by impugning individuals perceived to be supporters of the President,” the lawsuit continued.

Good for Sandmann and any other one of these boys who got caught up in this media-created mess.

Down at the NOTACRISIS border…

From the Times of San Diego:

Three people were hospitalized following a high-speed chase with the United States Border Patrol on Tuesday evening in the East County, the California Highway Patrol said.

The chase started shortly after 5 p.m. after Border Patrol agents tried to stop the woman driving a blue Mazda MPV near Olde Highway 80 and McCain Valley Road in Boulevard for a possible immigration-related violation, the CHP said.

The 23-year-old San Diego woman refused to stop and fled and drove through several roads before ending up on southbound Shasta Way, south of state Route 94, the agency said.

The four male passengers, ages 24, 25, 27 and 39, were lying in the back of the car unrestrained at the time of the crash and sustained minor injuries, the agency said. The men all claimed to be residents of Mexico.

And then:

Two people are dead after a car and semi-truck collided during a Border Patrol pursuit in Otay Mesa Tuesday night, agents say.

According to Border Patrol, two people were seen crossing over the border into the United States early Tuesday night. Agents described them as a man and a woman.

The agency told 10News a getaway car was waiting for the pair. The driver of the car led agents on a high-speed chase reaching speeds of more than 100 miles per hour.

And the kicker:

At least 25 people affiliated with the MS-13 gang were deported from Mexico after they were revealed to be concealed within the caravan of 1,600 Central American migrants just across the U.S. border, immigration officials said Tuesday.

The caravan first arrived in Piedras Negras, Mexico, two weeks ago across the border from Eagle Pass, Texas, when officials from the Instituto Nacional de Migración identified 10 gang members from Mara Salvatrucha, also known as MS-13.

But after warehouse scuffles with police last week, officials discovered and deported 15 additional MS-13 “agitators,” INM Media Deputy Director Aline Juarez told Fox News.

Last month, Border Patrol sources said they arrested more than 100 people believed to be gang members.

Trump admin wants its high-speed rail cash money back

Ah yeah. Let the taxpayers of California pay for the ridiculous plans of their representatives, not the rest of us.

The administration Tuesday threatened to withdraw almost a billion dollars in federal funds allocated to a high-speed rail line in California, but the state’s governor counterpunched by suggesting the threat was retaliation for fighting President Donald Trump’s “national emergency” declaration on a border wall.

On Tuesday evening, the Transportation Department threatened to cancel $929 million in federal funds earmarked for California’s high-speed rail project, after Gov. Gavin Newsom announced plans last week to scale back the project.

What a lame “counterpunch.” TAKE.AWAY.THE.MONEY.

And it gets better:

And DOT said it wants to go even further, saying it’s “actively exploring every legal option” to seek the return of $2.5 billion in federal funds that have already been granted for what the agency calls a “now-defunct” project.

Federal Railroad Administration chief Ronald Batory wrote to the Cal. high-speed authority explaining the decision, which goes into effect March 5. SOON!

The letter says that the project has “materially failed to comply with the terms” of the agreement between the state and the federal government, and that Newsom’s announcement “presented a new proposal that represents a significant retreat from the state’s initial vision and commitment and frustrates the purpose for which federal funding was awarded.”
