14 Other Movies Featuring Star Wars Actress Carrie Fisher

Actress Carrie Fisher, best known for her role as Princess Leia Organa in "Star Wars," passed away on Tuesday in Los Angeles at age 60. Fisher died four days after suffering a cardiac event on a flight from London.

Fisher took Hollywood by storm in the original "Star Wars" trilogy. Her feisty and classy princess shot down the advances of Han Solo (Harrison Ford), only to end up falling in love with him! Their romance helped make The Empire Strikes Back (1980) the best "Star Wars" film, with the iconic "I love you!" "I know" dialogue going down in history.

Besides her most famous role, Fisher appeared in many movies, and had quite a few cameo appearances in television shows. Here's a list of 14 non-"Star Wars" movies featuring our favorite Princess Leia:

1. Shampoo (1975).

Fisher got her start in Hollywood in 1975, with a small part in the Warren Beaty movie Shampoo. Although she was the daughter of screen legend Debbie Reynolds and singer Eddie Fisher, the actress might never have become Princess Leia without this start, two years before A New Hope (1977).
