Fusee the Dog Has a Fabulous Maternity Photo Shoot

Being pregnant is such a joyous time in any woman’s life. And baby bumps are pretty much the cutest things around. That’s why so many expectant mothers opt to have a maternity photo shoot. It is a wonderful way to commemorate your pregnancy and get beautiful photos that you can show your kids when they’re older.

Apparently, though, maternity photo shoots are not limited to humans. It seems that you don’t need to be a biped to want to embrace your growing tummy. Yes, at least one adorable pregnant dog has gotten herself her very own photo shoot.

Fusee, who is the furry friend of Elsa Veria-Means, was 8 weeks pregnant when she got all dolled up in a floral crown and posed for the camera. Veria-Means posted the photos to her Twitter account.

Fusee, who lives in Olympia, Washington and has better style than all of us, welcomed 8 puppies into the world on Wednesday.

But first, on Monday she and Veria-Means participated in their whimsical shoot. Fusee is pictured surrounded by flowers with a sign that reads “Soon 2 B MOM!”

[…] Some Twitter users pointed out that it’s best to spay or neuter pets, but many praised the shoot for being what someone called “extra” and another Twitter user called “the purest thing” they’ve ever seen.
