FCC Inspectors OK Free Wireless Web

The FCC field inspectors have weighed in on T-Mobile’s interference claims surrounding the development of a free wireless Internet service.  In a report released late Friday, field tests by commission engineers concluded that there would be no interference with the T_Mobile spectrum space.  The report clears the way for an auction of the spectrum space and the development of the wireless net.  T-Mobile paid over $4 Billion at auction for the adjacent space so don’t be surprised if the company files suit to slow down the FCC process or over turn the commission ruling.
