Patent And IP Messes Stifling Biotech Innovation Too

The Center for Intellectual Property Policy at McGill University has completed a 7 year study and found that existing IP and patent structures hamper R&D in the bio industry. The study concludes that the patent laws that were initially designed to foster innovation have created an environment where IP is an end unto itself.
