Meghan McCain continues to impress on ABC’s “The View” — which could be more aptly named “Outnumbered” because the token conservative is surrounded by liberals — not only on the panel but in the audience as well.

McCain won accolades from conservatives online Monday after she asked alleged Republican strategist Ana Navarro a question that has been on a lot of our minds for a while now.

The clarifying moment came during a heated discussion about the government shutdown.

“It is not intellectually honest to sit here and say this is completely Trump’s fault,” McCain said, agreeing with Navarro that DACA was an “emotional issue.”

“But to sit here and say that this government shutdown has anything to do with my or the Republican Party’s love for the troops is just intellectually dishonest,” she added.

At that point, all the women started yammering at once. “Democrats are playing partisan politics in the exact same way,” McCain declared, holding her ground.

“This is playing party politics — we have another month to figure out DACA until March,” McCain argued amidst much-heated crosstalk. “They’re attaching it to a spending bill!”

Whoopi Goldberg interjected in an attempt to cool things down, but McCain continued. “I understand that DACA is a very emotional issue at this point, but most Republicans are on my side on this one, Ana,” she said. “It’s really difficult for me to understand sometimes why you still consider yourself a Republican.”

Navarro shot back: “Because I’m a Hispanic, immigrant Latina!” to thunderous applause from the liberal audience. “I came here through no decision of my own, I came here through no fault of my own. Had my parents not had visas, had my parents not had the resources to hire lawyers, I would be a DREAM Act kid, too,” she said.

Navarro may have won the hearts of The View’s studio crowd, but the feisty McCain continues to win the hearts of conservatives nationwide.
