Democrats fuel murder with horrifying ubiquity and shamelessness.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) highlighted on August 7 how Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) filed a detainer request with North Carolina authorities for an illegal alien, who is now facing murder charges after he abandoned a child in the bathtub, resulting in the child’s death. The story comes at almost the same time as two transgender-identifying men who were complicit in a mother‘s murder of her child.
The DHS press release about the illegal alien reported the following:
[P]olice in Garner, North Carolina arrested Angel Israel Deras-Rivas, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador, on August 2. The arrest warrant states that Deras-Rivas was caring for the 14-month-old child as the child’s stepfather and husband of the child’s mother when he left the child unattended in a bathtub full of water, which led to the child’s death.
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin clarified, “This criminal illegal alien has been charged with murder and felony child abuse after letting a 14-month-old drown in a bathtub. That child would still be alive today if it weren’t for the reckless open-border policies of the Biden Administration that released this criminal into our country in the first place. ICE is calling on officials in North Carolina to commit to not releasing this killer from jail, and to turn him over to ICE custody so we can get him out of our country.”
North Carolina law requires local law enforcement to cooperate with federal immigration authorities.

Meanwhile, another young child died, this one in Ohio, The Post Millennial reported. While the other victim was practically a baby, this victim was seven years’ old. And out of the guilty group, the only biological female was the boy’s mother, making the murder even more sickening, if that’s possible.
Kaitlin Evans, “Nessa” Keaney, and “Kirby” Rankin are the murder suspects. Evans was the mother of the victim, William. The other two are biological men who identify as transgender.
Prosecutors said in the hearing that the boy, William Evans, had been found in a closet, bound and duct-taped. The three defendants were allegedly co-parenting the child, the prosecution said. The court heard that the young boy was mentally handicapped.
A detective told the court that the case was "one of the most disturbing examples of child abuse" he had seen in more than two decades on the job.
There was evidence of water torture, burns, and beatings on the dead boy’s body. Rankin confessed child abuse to the authorities and said both Evans and Keaney tortured the little boy, too. Keaney’s lawyer asserted he was “the least culpable” but it is not clear if this matches Rankin’s testimony.
There has been a major crisis of transgender-identifying mass shooters and other violent criminals in the last few years, with the Annunciation Catholic School and Covenant School shooters and the Laguna Beach killer as three examples. When leftists encourage mental illness and violence, it has deadly and devastating results.
