Lenin’s Professional Revolutionaries and Democrats’ Professional Rioters

Vladimir Lenin, the vicious Bolshevik revolutionary who established the Soviet Union, committed mass murder, and imposed extreme Communist tyranny, wrote in 1901, “This struggle must be organized, according to ‘all the rules of the art’, by people who are professionally engaged in revolutionary activity.” His ideas for Marxist military revolution bear a startling similarity to modern American Democrats’ ideas for socialist cultural revolution.

As Democrats have always believed in political violence and dramatic cultural change, so they were natural allies of the Marxists who came to America in the 20th century and increasingly gained influence within our institutions and government. Even those Democrats who do not openly profess to be socialist have so many Marxist ideas now that it is hardly shocking to find parallels between the writings of Lenin and leftist activism of the present.

The obvious example right now is the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), which now faces multiple charges of fraud related to secretive payments it made to extremists and white supremacists, including members of the Ku Klux Klan, the Aryan Nations, and the American Front. The more than $3 million helped fuel the very ideologies that SPLC has built a significant amount of financial success and political power off pretending to oppose.

Yes, SPLC is hypocritical. But in a sense, it is — or was — also very clever. There are certainly white supremacists in America, but there is no significant violent, national movement of white supremacy. The SPLC needed an excuse to keep on with its race-baiting propaganda. What is a good Marxist to do? Why, create the problem so that he can swoop in as the solution, of course.

Democrats, like all hardcore Marxists, never solve problems. They do sometimes identify problems, though they usually do so for the wrong reasons. But whether they are presenting the wrong solutions to the problems that exist or manufacturing problems that do not exist, there is always an element of profound dishonesty. They have to get their supporters riled up, but they have to keep the supporters angry or they cannot stay in power. Marxists thrive on emotional agitation, not on results, because they cannot provide positive results.

That is where the professional revolutionaries come in. That, incidentally, is what Barack Obama was. He was a professional community organizer, which basically just means a socialist agitator, in the ideological tradition of socialist Saul Alinsky.

Republicans sometimes laugh at the protesters who repaint their signs or reprint signs in the exact same pattern — whether protesting Donald Trump’s operations in Venezuela and Iran, or switching from protesting Israel to protesting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. But the reason for this perpetual protesting on any and every pretext is simply is that there are thousands of paid activists in America now who are the professional revolutionaries of the Democrat Party.

Socialist revolutions are not organic movements. They are the product of insidious leaders and their professional revolutionaries who work overtime, stirring up anger and resentment and violence. And that exactly describes not only Lenin’s Bolsheviks, but modern Democrat rioters.
