Antisemitism is both a mental and a moral illness. And for the truly brainwashed, no amount of brutal truth will ever penetrate the madness. We see it in our own country in leftist strongholds, and in Muslim countries overseas.
A significant part of the world, both East and West, Muslim and “Christian,” seems absolutely determined to believe Muslims over Jews even when the Muslims have an extremely long track record of terrorism and the Jews have a track record of generosity.
There are too many examples. Pro-jihad radicals at Columbia University, which might as well rename itself Hamas University, celebrated the anniversary of the Oct. 7 atrocities in Israel. The Students for Justice in Palestine chapter there, the same one that was ecstatic when the Oct. 7 attack happened, distributed copies of Columbia Intifada, their newspaper named after a type of genocidal war against Israel, according to Campus Reform. This pro-terror rag glorified Oct. 7 as the day “the people of Gaza tore down the fences of their modern concentration camp.” Sure, 1,200 Israeli men, women, and children were raped, tortured, murdered, and kidnapped, but Columbia students think it was all their fault for being Jews.
Meanwhile, over in Gaza mobs were celebrating the proposed “peace” deal by calling for more massacres of Jews:

Israel pours aid into hostile Gaza in an action practically unprecedented in all the human history of warfare. They go out of their way to avoid civilian casualties, even though the majority of Gazan “civilians” support jihad. They gave the Arabs deceptively calling themselves “Palestinians” the Gaza Strip and parts of Judea and Samaria, and Muslims have 50 nations while Jews have only one. But it is never enough for the fanatical antisemites. Gratitude is a virtue entirely foreign to and despised by them.

Winston Churchill, when he was young and had come face-to-face with militant Islam in the context of warfare, made some observations about Islam that are just as applicable to antisemitism, since hatred and bloodlust for Jews are actually commanded in Islamic sacred texts.
Churchill wrote in The Story of the Malakand Field Force:
Indeed it is evident that Christianity, however degraded and distorted by cruelty and intolerance, must always exert a modifying influence on men’s passions, and protect them from the more violent forms of fanatical fever, as we are protected from smallpox by vaccination. But the Mahommedan religion increases, instead of lessening, the fury of intolerance. It was originally propagated by the sword, and ever since its votaries have been subject, above the people of all other creeds, to this form of madness. In a moment the fruits of patient toil, the prospects of material prosperity, the fear of death itself, are flung aside.
Notably, much later, Churchill also supported the rebirth of Israel and strongly opposed arguments that Jewish national goals required full acquiescence from the area’s Arabs.
But the main point is that Islam is a powerful brainwashing cult, and it somehow manages to capture the minds and hearts of many non-Muslims too now, just as it did in Churchill’s day when he was condemning bad policy regarding the area of modern Israel. Antisemitism is an irrational but contagious hatred.
