Over 150 years ago, Democrats launched the bloodiest war in American history because anti-slavery Republican Abraham Lincoln won the presidency. Fast forward to the present, and after years of leftists’ violent rioting, lawfare, and assassination attempts, a shocking new poll indicates a new civil war might be on the horizon.
On April 9, 1865, 160 years ago today, rebel Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee surrendered at Appomattox Court House to Union Lt. Gen. U.S. Grant. It was the beginning of the end of the Civil War, and thus doomed slavery to death, but the Democrats continued to engage in domestic terrorism and to develop Jim Crow legislation for many decades after, refusing to admit final defeat. In fact, it is not incorrect to say that the Civil War never really ended, the battlefields simply shifted, and we are still fighting the Democrat Party for the survival of our great nation today.
A Confederate sympathizer, John Wilkes Booth, assassinated Abraham Lincoln for daring to endorse civil rights for black Americans, shouting as he brandished his weapon, “Sic semper tyrannis (thus always to tyrants).” Last year, two men—one undoubtedly with a track record of anti-Trump, pro-Democrat statements—came very close to assassinating Trump, while Democrats scream non-stop that he’s a Nazi, fascist dictator. In some ways, the Democrat Party is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Just look at a recent survey’s results. MRCTV’s Nick Kangadis summed up the key points from a Network Contagion Research Institute (NCRI) poll in conjunction with a Rutgers University lab:
55 percent of “respondents that self-identified as left of center” said the murder of President Donald Trump would be “at least somewhat justified.”
And Elon Musk? Well, 48 percent of respondents felt the same way if he were to be murdered… 31% and 38% of respondents stated it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk and President Trump, respectively.
If this poll is indeed accurate, I’d hardly be surprised. The Mostly Peaceful Protests of 2020, the abuse of and lawfare against J6ers and Donald Trump, the assassination attempts on Trump, and the Tesla firebombings this year all indicate that leftists now, as they have since the founding of the Democrat Party, believe that political violence is justified.

Riots, lynchings, assassinations, domestic terrorism, rapes, assaults, and battles have been an integral part of Democrat Party history for some two centuries. Why should they change now?
Are we heading toward Civil War 2.0? Who can say for sure? What we can say with certainty is that leftists absolutely believe that extreme violence against their political opponents is thoroughly justified, and we can expect to see a lot more of it from the party of the KKK in the coming years.
