WASHINGTON — Infowars host Alex Jones, who showed up today at the Senate Intelligence Committee hearing at which the bosses of Facebook and Twitter were testifying, nearly came to blows with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) outside of the hearing room.
Rubio was talking with reporters while largely ignoring Jones, heckling the lawmaker, at his side when the Infowars host placed his hand on the senator’s shoulder.
“Don’t touch me again, man. I’m asking you not to touch me again,” Rubio snapped at Jones, saying he didn’t know who Jones was when Jones told the senator he “just patted you nicely.”
“Oh, you want me arrested?” Jones said.

“You’re not going to get arrested, man,” Rubio replied. “You’re not going to get arrested — I’ll take care of you myself.”
“Oh he’ll beat me up!” Jones shot back. “…You are literally like a little gangster thug. Rubio just threatened to physically fight me.”
Rubio continued speaking with reporters until leaving to go back in the hearing room and telling journalists, “You guys can talk to this clown.”
Jones called the senator a “frat boy” and yelled at the departing Rubio, “Go back to your bathhouse!”
