Rep. Brandon Gill destroys American Bar Association DEI president over ‘implicit bias’ claims
American Bar Association President Michelle Behnke received quite the grilling from Rep. Brandon Gill (R-Texas) at Wednesday’s House Oversight hearing vis-à-vis her organization’s extensive exploration of “implicit bias” on its website, which claims, among other things, that “all of us have implicit biases.”

Gill, who is far too good at this kind of inquisition, attempted to elicit from Behnke what her own personal implicit biases are: “Against which groups do you have implicit biases?”
She tried to filibuster, like all of these witnesses do, with canned talking points so as to avoid answering the question.
He posed the same question again.
She filibustered again.
The point of this exercise, of course, wasn’t to actually get an honest answer — Gill, like anyone familiar with these exercises in nonsense, knows that’s not in the cards — but to expose her hackery: her inability to mount a basic defense of her own organization’s stated ideology.

The real answer to the question, of course, is that Behnke, as a Person of Color™, is exempt from any required self-examination of her “implicit biases”; the only ethnicity required to self-flagellate in this manner is the Caucasoid (literal Satan).
The great utility of implicit bias, as opposed to explicit bias, from the perspective of the social engineer, is that it can never actually be cured, and no one can ever demonstrate having fully recovered from their implicit bias. Rather, it’s deeply ingrained in the subconscious of the individual, and therefore is near-impossible to purge.
No matter if, as a white man, you say or do the right thing — you can’t ever absolve yourself of your guilt.
Implicit bias is an incurable disease.
The best you can do is continually, forever and ever, grovel for forgiveness.

An added benefit of implicit bias is that it’s “challenging to recognize in oneself,” meaning that organizations need to hire self-styled experts to conduct “implicit bias training” — a boon for the billion-dollar DEI cottage industry that’s sprung up over the last decade and a half.
Via StatPearls (emphasis added):
Implicit bias is the attitude or internalized stereotypes that unconsciously affect our perceptions, actions, and decisions. These unconscious biases often affect behavior that leads to unequal treatment of people based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, health status, and other characteristics…
