Scottish police report that rates of child rape recently hit an all-time high.
Unfortunately for current and future victims, the authorities find themselves at a loss to identify the precipitating factor(s) in this disturbing crime spree.

To solve the riddle, Scottish Labour, great defender of women that it is, is demanding an investigation into “what is driving this shameful rise in sexual violence and domestic abuse” that’s sure to go nowhere because an honest investigation would almost certainly turn up untenable results in terms of maintaining orthodox fantasies about the loving and liberal fruits of multiculturalism.

Police Scotland warn rape is at the “highest level of recording”, with sex crimes overall having risen by almost 15 per cent to 12,267 between April and December last year.
Data shows 98 girls aged under 13 were raped – a surge of more than 36 per cent on the previous year and the highest number recorded in the past three years.
Overall, 2,241 serious sexual assaults were reported between April and December, up 169 on the previous year, according to the force report.
The report, which went before the Scottish Police Authority’s policing performance committee today, reveals rape now accounts for “almost one fifth of all reported sexual crimes”…
Scottish Labour Justice spokesperson Pauline McNeill said the “horrifying figures” show violence against women and girls is endemic in Scotland.
Ms McNeill said: “It is all the more worrying in this context that so many Rape Crisis centres in Scotland are facing such acute funding pressure.
“The SNP must urgently investigate what is driving this shameful rise in sexual violence and domestic abuse. It is a scandal that so many women are unsafe in our communities and even in their own home...
The highest numbers were recorded in Greater Glasgow with 394 crimes, followed by Tayside with 230 crimes and Lanarkshire with 224 crimes.
Whatever could be driving this “shameful rise in sexual violence and domestic abuse” of women and children in Scotland?
Surely the spike in the foreign-born population over time over the past twenty years, as handily illustrated in graph form in this report from Migration Watch UK, and the concomitant rise in child rape is an unhappy coincidence?

Surely the fact that, among UK polities, Scotland has experienced the highest per capita rate of increase in foreign-born population — a 198% hike in 20 years — is one of those classic “correlation does not equal causation” scenarios?
Surely the particular concentration of these child rape cases in Glasgow, 32% of the population of which is born to foreign mothers, is another such totally unrelated pair of phenomena?

An asylum seeker has allegedly raped a 10-year-old girl and got her pregnant in a controversial migrant centre in Italy.
The 28-year-old man from Bangladesh is accused of raping the young girl at a migrant centre in San Colombano di Collio, Brescia, in the northern Italian region of Lombardy.
The centre is located in the Hotel Il Cacciatore and houses about 20 asylum seekers, according to local media.
Among them are the alleged rapist and the little girl… whose mother raised the alarm on October 1 after her daughter showed sudden and 'strange' behavioural changes, like appearing cold and detached.
After the girl disclosed the alleged assault, she was taken to a local hospital, where a test revealed that she was pregnant. The 10-year-old had an abortion soon after.
