A Day Late and a Dollar Short

The Trump win back in November — has it really been a year? — was obviously a great victory for America and common sense.

However triumphant the sentiment, though, I couldn’t ignore the disheartening loss of Karine Jean-Pierre’s incoherent ramblings, who would no longer be offering her semi-daily trainwreck performances from the podium.

I milked that golden teat for all it was worth over the previous couple of years.

I haven’t ever counted, but I probably wrote about twenty articles about her moronic ramblings and very remedial attempts at reading the notes her staffers obviously spent a lot of time compiling and probably practicing with her beforehand, to no discernible benefit.

Beyond all the fun had at Karine’s expense, though — which, let’s be honest, was low-hanging fruit — lay a serious point: KJP was the poster-child for the lowering of the bar that inevitably accompanies DEI hiring mandates.

No one in their right mind who watched this specimen in action for more than two minutes could come away with any other impression than “they hired this ditz because she’s a queer BIPOC immigrant lesbian” — an impression which is absolutely true, because Biden’s handlers had him explicitly promise to fill his cabinet with DEI picks.

The emperor never had any clothes.

Yet the legacy media waited until the Biden regime was conveniently out of office, out of favor, and out of power to gently blow on the house of cards and send it tumbling, which they could easily have done at any time in the four years it occupied the White House.

Now that they no longer have to worry about access to Bidenworld or trying to drag their puppet’s carcass over the finish line, the legacy media’s suddenly discovered the capacity to ask critical questions of its leaders.

Karine Jean-Pierre and Kamala Harris are both furiously peddling their dueling and equally delusional accounts of the disastrous administration they each played pivotal roles in driving into the ditch.

Based on their total level of unpreparedness and visible shock at having to actually answer real questions, it appears they were not anticipating anything other than softball circle jerks.

And why wouldn’t they? These were the pampered idols of the incestuous D.C. swamp for four straight years.

Everyone understands that none of the above hard-hitting questions would ever have been posed to Karine or the Kamala entity from the period of 2020-2024.

So the takeaway here is: a day late and a dollar short (literally, as the legacy media dies a slow and ignominious death)
