Social Justice Takes Its Dying Breaths

If you had asked a few years ago, I might have guessed that the cultural hysteria promulgated by the brand of identity politics that the corporate state in the West pushes, which accelerated dramatically after George Floyd overdosed on a street in Minneapolis, would only intensify until it reached some apocalyptic apex — there are too many social control advantages, after all, to setting the peasants against one another along fault lines of immutable characteristics.

(The British perfected this strategy of social control in colonial India, after realizing the continent was too vast and the people too many to effectively control by themselves and a few thousand British administrators, a strategy often known as “divide and conquer.”)

But looking on in 2024, the Social Justice™ fetish looks more like an anachronism than an ascendant ideology.

This is not to say, of course, that the Democrats and the corporations and government they serve have given up on the project — only that it doesn’t have the potency that it once might of as a force of social engineering.

With all of that context, the Karamel-uh entity and its handlers appear not to have gotten the memo, as they recently hosted a “White Women For Kamala” event on Zoom.

Via Axios (emphasis added):

Vice President Kamala Harris' candidacy has attracted well over 150,000 volunteers and raised millions of dollars through Zoom, while testing Donald Trump's support among white women — a group that helped put Trump in the White House in 2016…

During the past week, Zoom rallies have proven to be a powerful force for Harris, organizing thousands of Black women and men, groups that have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats in recent elections…

On Thursday, there were more than 160,000 participants in the record-setting "White Women: Answer the Call" session that organizers say has already raised more than $11 million

"White women voting for Republicans, even when it appears to be against their best interests, is a complex phenomenon influenced by privilege, systemic racism and sexism, religious affiliations and, of course, the patriarchy," [founder of Moms Demand Action Shannon] Watts wrote in a substack post Monday.

Is voting Republican, given that the only real alternative in American Democracy™ is the Democrat Party, really “against women’s best interests”?

What does the Democrat Party actually offer women that would be so enticing except transing their children and offering abortions on demand?

Here is some influencer discussing how “Black women” (capitalized for Equity™) have “tapped” white women to elect Kamala Harris.

Note here that, although it almost goes unnoticed at a subconscious level, none of the emphasis is on what Kamala would do as president for white women or anyone else; the onus is on the voter, somehow, to put a politician in office because they owe it to her on account of slavery or whatever — a total inversion of how actual representative democracy is supposed to function.

It’s really very sick.

Will it work? Perhaps with a tiny subset of coastal liberals, but I doubt this is going to be compelling to anyone in flyover country.
