Pride™ Hits Lima, Peru: Exclusive On-the-Ground Report

Just as soon as I got off my editing shift for PJ Media on Saturday, I headed over to the more cosmopolitan side of Lima, Peru, for a Pride™ celebration/march/parade/exposition — whatever one might call it, attended by and in all likelihood sponsored directly by the U.S. State Department.

Via El Comercio (translated from Spanish), “Pride March 2024 LIVE today, June 29: Hours, route, closed roads and more of the LGBT mobilization,” the logistics of yesterday’s event are explained, which were heavily advertised on social media (the avenue by which I found out about this ode to Sodom and Gomorrah).

Lima is apparently — despite me not having seen any outward expressions of LGBTQ+++™ representation in the city before last night — a tranny hotspot on the global stage.

What are the kids up to these days?

Airbnb, the online marketplace for short-term and long-term stays, wants to know.

The industry ally recently analyzed Pride travel destinations for Millennial and Gen Z travelers. Their efforts revealed a diversity of Pride destinations and experiences that in many ways reflected the characteristics of each generation.

Not too surprisingly, Gen Z-ers (born from 1996 to the early 2000s) sought out newer Pride celebrations and experiences. Gen Z-ers also saw a staggering 300 percent increase in Airbnb bookings over five years (Q1 2019 to Q1 2023). Airbnb found Millennials (born 1980 to 1995) tended to be more traditional in the Pride travel destinations.

Lima, and yesterday’s Pride™ march in particular, are listed in those “top 10 international destinations” for sodomy festivals catering to Gen Z.

Indeed, regarding the age of the participants, I was struck by how young the majority of them looked. The vast preponderance of them appeared to be either high school or college-age.

I can only assume they knew not what they did — what multinational social engineering project they partook in — and had been captured by relentless propaganda emanating out of the West, particularly from Western governments and corporations. Young people are idealists and are easily manipulated by causes advertised under the banner of “human rights.”

“Derechos humanos,” as they are called in Spanish, were heavily touted in signage at the event.

On that score, the U.S. Embassy in Lima apparently showed up with envoys for the U.S. government for the rally — because of course it did — writing on Twitter (translated from Spanish) with rainbow and muscle-flexing emojis:

Today we celebrate love, diversity and the rights of all! 🌈

We participated in the pride march in Lima to demonstrate our support and collaboration with the community #LGBTQIA +. Together we build a more inclusive and respectful future 💪 .
