The caption above accompanied this photo that I happened to see on Buzz Feed in a segment entitled:

26 Incredibly Powerful Images Of Eid Al-Fitr 2013, And What They Say About The World Today. —  Celebration. Violence. Love. Grief. Abundance. Despair

These visuals are definitely worth checking out if you are interested in seeing how the Muslim world is celebrating the end of Ramadan, their holy month of fasting and praying.

I've said this before: even setting aside their violent depravity I'll never understand how a religion that forbids booze, bacon, scantily clad women and pet dogs has managed to gain so many followers.

Oh. This post is all about juxtaposition and conflict. Sorry, but I was mesmerized by that truly wonderful set of cheeks on the young lady on the right.

In a word: takkiya. Muslims can lie and deceive, tell only the partial truth and gloss over the bad bits to convince someone to convert. Ask anyone who wasn't born into Islam why they converted. They will spout some fantasy about the "religion of peace" that enables them to find inner tranquility and spiritual meaning that flies in the face of daily news documenting Muslim bigotry, intolerance and violence around the world.

They've bought into takkiya hook, line and sinker. They need to belong to something, but unfortunately made a big mistake. They will realize the depth of this mistake when they eventually discover the reality of Islam and try to leave it. Then they will discover apostates are condemned to death. And Muslims take that particular death sentence very seriously.

Agreed, it's a bit of a mystery. Until you look at a history book where you will soon discover that during the so-called "expansion" period (7th to 11th centuries, primarily, although well into the 16th century in south Asia) conquered people were basically given two choices: convert to Islam or die. Muslim "missionaries" were fanatical thugs with a sword, sort like now.

Current converts are gained by takkiya

You can over at Instapundit with the same tool, so, yes, it sure would be nice if we could also do that here. I do NOT understand the inconsistent policy.

It's interesting Muslim's celebrate the end of their religions most sacred holiday with murder and mayhem. Says a lot about Islam 'the religion of peace'.

This is a clever photo op that reflects the typical stereotype view of Israel, but the reality of every day life is very different. For the past forty years I have witnessed a gradual process of integration between Arabs and Jews in every aspect of their lives. Go to any hospital and you will find an integrated staff of Arabs and Jews. Go to any recreational area and you will find Jews and Arabs enjoying themselves. The driving force towards integration is economic prosperity. On the whole, Jews and Arabs are thriving. The violent incidents are the results of extremists. The average Israeli Jew and Arab continues to pursue a life for his family and not for some political or religious program. The media will never print the true reality here because it doesnt fit their agenda.

I have gone to meetings, with both Israelis and Palestinians, and have seen Palestinian women with just their eyes showing. Everything else was covered up. They explained they were dressed this way, because they personally wanted to dress this way. Yet this women were educated and informed. They were educated enough, to say this sectarian violence has to stop. We all must find a way of coexisting together, and live in peace. Not on our terms, but on all of our terms.
