President Obama just responded to the not-guilty verdict in George Zimmerman’s second-degree murder trial in this statement:

The death of Trayvon Martin was a tragedy.  Not just for his family, or for any one community, but for America.  I know this case has elicited strong passions.  And in the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher.  But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken.  I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son.  And as we do, we should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to widen the circle of compassion and understanding in our own communities.  We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis.  We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this.  As citizens, that’s a job for all of us.  That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin.

PLUS: GOP reaction – “There are moral dimensions beyond the case that obviously we have to come to grips with.”

Absolutely disgusting.

“We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence…..”. Where does gun violence fit in this picture. Surely he must be referring to the illegal guns that were being trafficked in (according to cell phone evidence) by the aspiring criminal Trayvon Martin. Surely he didn’t mean the reluctant but proper use of the legally possessed firearm that likely saved Zimmerman’s life from a drug-crazed teenage thug? Nice going Barack. Be sure to take full advantage of the situation to get the gun-grabbers fired up. Most of whom, by the way and just like you, wouldn’t give a damn if Zimmerman died just so he didn’t use a gun to defend himself. That’s what you and your ilk wish for us all.

“That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin.” Sure, and while we’re at it, let’s “honor” Machine Gun Kelly, the Boston Strangler, and Clyde Barrow. Had Trayvon lived would you have “honored” him with a date with your oldest daughter? The best way to honor the likes of Trayvon is with a decent burial.

Lordy, this clown we call a president is insufferable.

The Racist in Chief has spoken: Zimmerman's self-defense was 'gun violence' and a 'tragedy.' In plain English: "We need to get rid of gun ownership and self-defense law."

"We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this."

Fortunately, Mr. President, we already know the answers to that question. Don't comport yourself like a wannabee thug, going "gangsta" in order to prove your "cred". If you know of someone who is starting to head that way then, for the love of God, intervene before someone gets hurt. And the African-American community as a whole needs to start some introspection into what has produced the subculture that praises such miscreant lifestyles and take the necessary corrective actions. When a demographic comprising 2% of the population commits 30% of the violent crimes there is clearly a problem with that demographic!

---- Obama: ‘We are a Nation of Laws, and the Jury Has Spoken’

Tell that to your race-obsessed AT, Eric Holder; and tell it to the Congressional Black Caucus, who seek to crucify Zimmerman and his "mixed race" family.

Putting the advancement of American "race" relations at the top of the list? Obama is the worst president in American history. He even tops Buchanan and Wilson.

What would stop these tragedies is not gun control but KID control. The parents had lost this one some time ago, to the despicable criminal culture that passes for a 'black' 'community.' Why was he out at night when he was sent to his dad's for being out of control? He should have had his butt in a sling and been grounded for 6 months. Apparently Mom and Dad didn't care all that much what happened to him, letting him run wild like that. But now he's their tender, precious angel? Sorry, no sale.

"But we are a nation of laws..."

That's rich, considering his opinion of laws he doesn't like.

Good presidents should appoint good judges, and then keep their noses completely out the justice system. ObamaRx is like a bull in a china shop, breaking everything he touches, as per his latest foray into the military justice system.

Obama has stated that the "colonial" society at the time the constitution was penned, was deeply flawed; therefore the constitution itself is deeply flawed. This guy has only ONE thing on his mind; power. Using the death of Trayvon Martin to push the destruction of the constitution is immoral; yet this has become the daily MO of Obama along with using the EPA, IRS, DOJ etc as his thuggish goon squads to further his power grab. ALL (including Trayvon) are simply a means to an end ... tragic. There is a mountain of evidence against both Obama and Holder that would serve to instantly remove them from their thrones .... ... Time for action.

"I think it is an imperfect document that reflects some deep flaws in colonial culture nacent at that time." Obama

This comment regarding the constitution is the one to which I refer in my post above. "But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken. " - Obama
translation: "But we're stuck with this flawed system of law for the time being."

"We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this." - Obama
Translation: "Since the decision NOT to hang Zimmerman comes from a fundamentally flawed system; we should change it to my version of a just system."

Mandela and Obama are really not that much different - both Communist operatives that despise colonials.

That's how I read it too. I truly believe that's how Obama - and the rest of the Left - feels about the current system.

The Obama quote "...the jury has spoken" in fact is not exactly correct, according to Steve Sailer's iSteve blog tonight, What Obama actually said, in maximum clever lawyer-speak, was " ...a jury has spoken". Opening the door for perhaps another jury to be convened in a nice stroke of double-jeopardy Holder-jitsu which in due course will have spoken somewhat differently. This is no small thing. Let's see if our Soviet media looks at this intriguing bit of Obamazoidal rhetoric any more critically than they looked at "fundamental transformation of the USA" just before the 2008 elections?

What a kerfuffle. On the one hand, The One intones, "we are a nation of laws". Hmm. On the other, his regime IS the most lawbreaking in U.S. history. It is a regime gone wild.
The Radical-in-Chief would like nothing more than Trayvon's death, whom he said could have been his son (again, hmm), to create riots and mayhem, albeit with a wink and a nod.
In any case, surely his shock troops - via his Panthers compatriots - will think of 'lawful' ways to respond - http://adinakutnicki.com/2012/08/01/will-barack-hussein-obamas-lawless-justice-department-under-the-aegis-of-ag-holder-finally-fall-commentary-by-adina-kutnicki/

--- I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son.

No mention whatsoever, of course, from our race-baiting half-black president about the hardship endured by the Zimmerman family. Again underlining that Obama is the most divisive (racially, ethically, politically, culturally) chief executive in American history. So, in Obama's mind, racially-mixed Hispanics who engage in neighborhood watch programs and who claim the right to self-defense are bad; while "black" (whatever the hell that is) delinquents who attack "white Hispanics" and manage to get themselves killed for bashing a fellow human being's head into a concrete sidewalk are GOOD and worthy of some kind of public dirge.

So come on, all you "whites" out there, and all you "white Hispanics" and "white Asians" and "white blacks" and "white Native Americans" out there, take up the flail. You are bad people, and if Barack Hussein Obama had a son (by his royal wife, Michelle), he would look NOTHING like you or your kind.

"That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin."

Why should anyone want to honor Trayvon Martin?

He was teenaged sh1thead who crossed the line into the Big Leagues when he assaulted and battered George Zimmerman...and now he's dead for doing so.

There's nothing....NOTHING to "honor" there, no more so than you would honor some other 17 year old sh1thead who got drunk and crashed his car into a tree, killing himself.

This Obama is an idiot of the first water....
