CBS News ace reporter Sharyl Attkisson has been nominated for a trio of Emmy Awards for outstanding broadcast journalism. One story, “Libya: Dying for Security,” is nominated for Outstanding Investigative Journalism in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast.

Attkisson has consistently been the only reporter at any of the Big Three network news operations to pursue the Benghazi attack, and Fast and Furious before that.

Computers that Attkisson used while working on both stories and others were broken into and compromised. CBS has investigated, but so far the identity of the person or group who broke into her machines remains unknown.

Bryan Preston has been a leading conservative blogger and opinionator since founding his first blog in 2001. Bryan is a military veteran, worked for NASA, was a founding blogger and producer at Hot Air, was producer of the Laura Ingraham Show and, most recently before joining PJM, was Communications Director of the Republican Party of Texas.

Glad to see there is some recognition for honest and hard-hitting journalism.
