This photo, posted on the White House web site this week, continues to cause a stir. President Obama’s cabinet includes no female nominees. In fact, the only woman in the photo is Valerie Jarrett, and the only part of her that’s visible is her leg. She is apparently sitting on top of the president’s desk, obscured by a white, male adviser.
The Washington Post’s Ruth Marcus hit Obama today suggesting that he needs some “binders of women” to help him elevate more women to power.
Now Charlie Rangel, the congressman of questionable ethics from New York, is piling on.
“It’s embarrassing as hell,” Rangel said. ”You have to do these things because it’s the right thing to do as a symbol of what America stands for.”
Obama’s last three appointments – Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.), Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.), and chief of staff Jack Lew – are all white men, and the White House has faced criticism after a photo it released earlier in the week provoked The New York Times to point out the “all-male look” of Obama’s inner circle. The photo showed Obama meeting with ten advisers, all men.
This proves for sure what a racist Rangel is.
The cabinet is filled with ideological criminals who hate the country and want to destroy it. Leftist everywhere are thrilled, but not Charley. For him, destroying the country isn’t enough. He wants them all to be black people as incompetent a himself.
Isn’t that what the president is for?
Sure Charlie. Just let’s throw a token in there to shut you up. Maybe a lesbian to cover all the bases.
By the way, the NBA, that’s “embarrassing as hell.” What’s up with that? Throw some Serbs in there and maybe some DOJ-approved dwarves. A few white Muslims wouldn’t hurt. Serbs could do that, or Bosnians, or whatever. I’m sure they’re all diverse and whatnot.
Obama IS the token. He covers for the blacks, the homosexuals, the illegals, and the mentally challenged. Also,perhaps you missed Valerie Jarret’s leg in the photo. That’s the “woman”.
Aside from the gist and or content of the article what is wrong with this picture? Here is a hint: Ronald Reagan never went in the Oval Office without one.
And P.S. Tell Jarrett to get her fat ass off the desk of the President. How rude and disrespectful.
Those “incompetent ideologues” have brought us back from the worst recession since the Great Depression. Really, we should stop calling people names just because we disagree with their policies.
