This interview is from November 2007. In it, then Sen. Barack Obama makes the case that his having lived in a Muslim country as a kid, his having traveled through Muslim countries later, and his work on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee would help ease tensions with the Muslim world.
The problem here is, he was being totally serious.

Kinda hard to get on Mount Rushmore at this rate, Barry.
First of all, his EXTREMELY short tenue on that committee (less than a year) does not make him an expert on foreign relations. His entire poltical career has been moving up the political ladder by serving the corrupt banking elites, Unions and the crony capitalist.
He really has accomplished nothing other than pulling the wool over the eyes of the already blind masses.
Also, that comment was incredibly presumptious concerning becoming President. Obviously he knew back on 07 the fix would be in for his presidency.
