If someone donates to a president’s campaign, can they really be called “non-partisan?”
At a speech earlier today in Cincinnati, Ohio, President Obama cited economic analysis conducted by one of his campaign donors, Kimberly Clausing, and called her a “non-partisan economist.” Clausing, a college professor from Reed College, has donated to President Obama and several Democratic politicians and causes over the last dozen years.
“We have not found any serious economic study that says Governor Romney’s economic plan would actually create jobs, until today,” Obama said. “I’ve got to be honest: Today we found out, there’s a new study out by [a] non-partisan economist that says Governor Romney’s economic plan would in fact create 800,000 jobs. There’s only one problem: The jobs wouldn’t be in America. They would not be in America.”
The Obama campaign earlier today touted this same study by Clausing. “Economist Kimberly Clausing writes that, under current economic conditions, ‘those new, low-tax-country jobs could displace jobs at home,’” an unnamed campaign official told Politico.
As we detailed earlier, “Clausing, according to donor records, gave Obama for America $250 on May 18, 2012. Likewise, on September 14, 2011, Clausing gave $242 to Obama for America, records reveal.”

It gets a bit worse for the president. The tax plan that he is attacking, called territorial tax, is supported by some of his own economic advisers.
No he isn’t capable of saying anything that is true.
Everything that he says is for the purpose of destroying capitalism, freedom, and the United States. His entire life is dedicated to disguising that purpose. Therefore, everything he says is a lie. Occassionally, something he says will be factually correct, but since everything is in suppot of the coverup, even the occasionally factually correct utterance is a lie as well.
Frankly, when he smiles, that’s a lie as well. When you devote your life to a masquerade, eveything that you do is just as much of a lie as verbally telling one.
I don’t believe one single thing he has ever done or said, or anybody else in the criminal empire. Down to the most insignificant detail.

At least the president cites the source of his claims, so that readers may take thatinto consideration when evaluating the veracity of the claim, as opposed to Romney who will pretty much say ANYTHING.. and most of the time when you check the facts… its half true at best. And Weo.. you think that anything PBO says ‘is for the purpose of destroying capitalism, freedom, and the United States.’? Really?? I as an American and a patriotic one, I am deeply offended that you would say this of the duly elected president of our nation. There is nothing that comes even close to substantiating such an outrageous claim. Shame on you!
So Bryan I’m glad you support Romney’s plan that eliminates taxes on all US companies on overseas profits. I figure using your logic US companies would never then put more jobs overseas because of favorable taxes. And I’m sure you realize that once companies don’t have to pay taxes on profits overseas they would never consider adding more costs to their US operation and transfer more profits overseas. They would never use those types of accounting gimmicks would they?
I’m glad we know how Patriotic Romney and his tax plans are and that you blindly support whatever he wants to do to America.
When I see a non-photoshopped image of the cancelled check you will write to the IRS for, say, $10000, just to help pay down the debt, sport, then I will give some credence to your concerns about other people’s motivations regarding income taxes.
Otherwise, I must assume you are just another East Coast yuppie who is trying to protect your personal advantages at the expense of everyone else.
