My final pronunciamenti are here. Andy and I are exhausted, and we’re doing a reprise on Bill Bennett’s radio show tomorrow morning at 07:50…for an hour, no less.
We haven’t been invited to make a documentary with Spielberg yet, and frankly I’m holding out for staging a live debate in Madison Square Garden, with Chris Matthews as moderator.
The full exchange, 3 rounds, can be accessed via the front page of Nationalreview.com
I’ll post my remarks on my blog in a day or so. Thanks to Lopez and the gang at NRO for hosting this. Maybe it will even help.

Thank you for our pronunciamenti, though I doubt it will be final. I greatly respect your background and admire your articles. I continue to question the possibility of providing effective support to “insurgents” who are really disaffected Muslims eager to supplant one despot with another whose fervor is closer to their own, and have no interest whatever in western-style democracy. Theocracy is their goal, and they are prepared to be martyrs.
There WILL be a war, simply because Islam, funded by oil wealth, wants it and a rabid segment wants it soon. What we elect to call Jihadists are the true believers, the strict adherents to the Quran, and the rest will NEVER do anything to temper them and face apostacy. There is no such thing as a moderate Muslim when it comes to their theocracy: you believe 100% or you are out. Right down to your friendly little neighborhood tailor they believe that Islam is destined to rule the world, and they will not lift a finger against Jihad’s pursuit of that sacred goal for fear of what would happen to them on the Great Day of Judgment.
This Administration’s Policy, Foreign and Domestic, plays right into their hands. Willful appeasement and dismissal of the reality of the threat is unpardonable. Keep up the fight and shine the light.
Hmmm…I can’t believe PJM is admitting that National Review writers who oppose arming Saudi/Qatari funded Muslim Brotherhood fighters exist. I thought those were all closeted racist Ronulan Paulbots.
With all due respect to Mr Ledeen, Mr Mccarthy and the other nancy-boys at National Review, it’s long past time we bombed the life out of Iran and eradicated the Persian culture from the Earth.
Fire up the B-52′s. Load them up with the biggest bunker buster bombs. And make Dresden look like a Red Cross relief operation.
Faster, please.
