I’m excited today to invite you to be one of the first to join the Freedom Academy Book Club. This new program is part of the Freedom Academy, a soon-to-be-announced sister brand of PJ Media, PJTV and NextGeneration.TV. We are rolling out the Freedom Academy Book Club early to PJ Media readers. In September 2013, we will announce our Freedom Academy and debut all of its offerings.
The Book Club is a program that allows you to search for books and add them to a virtual book shelf. Along with your book picks you’ll be able to post reviews and a star rating. Here’s a screenshot of my Reading Now list and a few of the books on it:
The Freedom Academy Book Club will strive to help you find great books in a variety of ways. The main page will display the most popular user books in a variety of categories. There is a growing collection of author interviews and soon a weekly newsletter will launch.
We’re also assembling a literary panel to provide recommendations. See Freedom Academy director Victor Davis Hanson’s picks here:
Others authors on the literary panel include Roger Kimball, Jonah Goldberg, Ben Shapiro, Roger L. Simon, J. Christian Adams, and Robert Spencer and more will be coming soon.
