Roger L. Simon, Archetypal Counterculture Conservative

Dear Roger, Someday I’ll go back and make account of all the ways that you’ve inspired me to be a stronger writer, more effective editor, and better human being. But for now I’m too focused trying to learn more from you and the rest of the PJM team so I can continue to do my part to help grow this unique community you’ve built. Thank you so much for the amazing person you are and the inspiring writing creations you’ve given the world. Best of luck on your return to creative writing — David Swindle, PJ Lifestyle Editor

Principlism: balls and strikes – water is wet. The closer one is to nature the closer one is to pragmatism and common sense. The opposite is decadence and over refinement and even abandoning one’s survival skills.
It is no coincidence that once the U.S. sat on top of the heap, having won all competitions, it’s children, without an exposure to the principles revolving around plain common sense, started to dismantle the whole thing. This is the origin of liberalism and political correctness – a monstrous form of politeness that denies reality itself.
On the Left, water is not wet. It’s just never as simple as that to them. Mitigation, blame, excuses, historical interpretation, ethnic and gender studies and all the rest must come to the conclusion that water is in fact not wet.
