Holder Defends Foreigners Voting in Florida Elections
The real scandal (as Hans von Spakovsky calls it) in the fight between Florida and the Eric Holder Justice Department is that Holder is ultimately defending foreigners voting in American elections. Try that position on for size amongst the general public, and Obama’s campaign strategists aren’t going to like the outcome.
The Justice Department lawsuit against Florida will stop Florida from removing non-citizen voters from the rolls by freezing the entire purge process. Justice claims that immediate removal of foreigners falls within time limits that restrict Florida’s ability to remove legitimately registered voters.
But a citizen of Guatemala isn’t a legitimately registered voter in Florida in the first place. They committed a crime when they registered to vote. Florida and the Justice Department should be indicting and prosecuting these voters who falsely registered.
But maybe they made a simple mistake when the registered to vote? Nonsense.
The voter registration form requires two very deliberate mistakes to be made if a foreigner registers to vote. First, the foreigner must mark a “YES/NO” check-box that they are a citizen. Then the foreigner must sign on a line that swears under penalty of perjury they are eligible to vote. The very first instructions on the form say: “To Register in Florida you must be a US Citizen.” Then in red print it states: if you are not a citizen ”you are not eligible to register.”
After the fight between Florida and Holder sorts out, it will be time to prosecute the foreigners who registered and voted in Florida elections. It is a felony under both Florida and federal law for a foreigner to register and vote. The ones who did should go to jail. It is pretty clear that only Florida has any interest in charging these illegal registrants. Holder considers them “the base” or “his people.”
And nobody should be surprised this is happening. The radicals at the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund who fought against Georgia verifying that only citizens are registered to vote in 2009 are now driving the case against Florida from new jobs inside the Justice Department.
What is not said is that many of the individual non-citizens who register may have even registered under a false name to begin with. This makes it a double whamy when trying to locate and individual registering under false pretenses. We know that many crossing the border get fake id’s to be here and on top of that registering to vote. Under that same token any real citizen could use this same tactic that illegal aliens use to be here in the first place and register to vote. I would say that if this is not illegal then what is? How can anyone get arrested or convicted for any illegal activity if all the laws are not equally distributed? Could this not set a legal precedent for any defendant to counter under any charge?

Holder has filed for an injunction in federal court in Florida.
And hopefully the Governor will order his people to ignore the federal order stating that it is unconstitutional (violating existing laws) and is willing to govern from a prison cell to make his point. Imagine what the voters in Florida and other states will do when they see the Obama administration preventing the state from trying to ensure the integrity of the voter roles.
I sincerely hope that when Romney wins (please God) that he nominates someone who is willing to not only root out the evilness that is the DOJ but will actually go after those who violated laws (would you be willing, Mr. Adams?).

Team Obama is just trying to appeal to its constituencies – in this case non citizen voters. Really can you fault them for that… okay fine, I see you point. If the trends keep going, as they have of late, their cheating will – hopefully – not matter.
As an aside, if the President got stimulus – what’s the count now – through and it is funded, like much of our debt, by the Chinese who in turn sends it to the SEIU which then launders it and return a cut to the president’s re election committee – I guess what I am wondering is why not just cut out the middle man and and have the Chinese fund the president’s (God forbid) re election directly? It would probably be more efficient.
One last thought – well maybe 2 – is there really a need for more fireman, teachers and cops and, if so, can the money be found elsewhere? And, shouldn’t this be done by the states or should we just run every damn thing through Washington so it can attach all of it’s strings.
It takes great effort, by talented people, to isolate a crime, trace it to an individual, and lead the crooked activity to legal sanctions. The law is designed that way, to ensure that the not guilty are left alone. Thus, when law enforcement, federal and state, are in a civil conflict and refuse to work together, the door is open for crooks. When the police look at their shoe laces, criminal activity increases.
Florida is attempting to curb illegal voting. They have asked the federal government for help in this matter. The feds have refused. Thus the question arises, why the refusal, and is the feds law suit against Florida just in the light of this denied request? In a razor tight election, could illegal votes decide a President? Is this the secret intent of one of the parties to the law suit? Is this being done due to the color of a voter’s skin? Or a lawyer’s bigotry?
Some thing is very rotten in the state of Florida, or Washington D.C. Keep shining the light Mr. Adams.
How about a new FL law defining sedition the way the good guys like it — i.e., to include vote tampering in all its forms — followed by a federal equivalent if Romney ever gets his crinolines in order?

The State of Florida should IGNORE the DOJ and Holder and continue its purge. If the Feds want a confrontation, force them to invade and try to stop the purge. That should make for some interesting contests between states’ rights and the fascist Fed.
The HB 2067 voter-identification policy approved by Governor Samuel D. Brownback for a KS Photo Voter-ID law requires photo-ID to vote in person, satisfactory proof of United States Citizenship for first time voter registrants, written signature verification in addition to a appropriate proof of identity credential for absentee ballots. Governor Rick Scott should sign a proof of citizenship bill based on the KS Voter-ID Law.
Holder’s DOJ is worse than John Mitchell’s DOJ in the Nixon administration and Mitchell went to jail over it.

I am a recently naturalized American citizen. During the immigration and naturalization process, I was repeatedly asked for biometric and photographic ID. As a citizen I must serve on a jury if asked, have the right to vote, can carry a US passport, cannot be refused entry to the USA if I leave, and can legally own a gun.
During the naturalization interview I was twice asked: “Have you ever registered to vote or voted?” by the federal official from USCIS. Obviously, an affirmative answer to this question would have precluded American naturalization and could have led to possible revocation of my green card status & deportation proceedings. They use DMV records as a check on the answer, among other evidentary sources. Whether driver’s licenses are a good document to use is another discussion completely.
STAYING OFF the voter rolls required work: for example, when I registered for a library card I got into a blinding argument with a county library official who insisted that I would not be given a library card until I filled our his “voter registration” form.
I believe that it is AN OPEN INSULT to the million or so Americans who played by all the rules and acquire US voting rights through naturalization each year that even one ineligible voter is on those lists.
The gentleman beside whom I sat at the naturalization ceremony this past spring came here from Haiti in 1980! During that time he has paid taxes, married an American, raised a family and never enjoyed the benefits of citizenship.
I see no reason whatsoever why dead people, legal or ILLEGAL aliens or other ineligible persons should be on the lists. American eligible citizens are required to use identification for almost all activities involving government: voting should be no different.

The DoJ’s actions in FL, as well as AL, GA and AZ the last couple years is SOLELY and overwhelmingly due to AAG Perez and ‘My People’s’ skewed sense of ‘fairness’ for those, ‘Other than Anglo’ skin features.

The bottom line uniting it all was that ‘America’ in any traditional sense had to go because America and its rule of reason and rule of law and its traditions and even its Constitution and Framing Vision and first principles were all nothing more than a sleazy machinery for continuing ‘patriarchy, dominance, oppression, hegemony and marginalization’.
The gameplan would be Gramsci’s: infiltrate the cultures of the West and corrode them from within.
So long as you weren’t ‘white, male, and so on and so forth then you could be part of the new client-Identities who through their indenture to their elite and Correct patrons would provide the ‘base’ for the New Correct Person (although previous efforts such as New Soviet Man had not worked well at all).
Given those hidden but very real dynamics and objectives, then Holder’s current behavior is perfectly logical and it’s what all of them have been working toward: to continue the corrosion of the target culture.
In pursuit of that objective anything is justified. So anybody who is not a ‘white male’ and who has no allegiance or loyalty to ‘traditional American culture’ is to be welcomed and enabled to do whatever s/he can to take a bite outta ‘white patriarchy’ and all that other bad stuff.
Finally, now, the mask of post-1972 ‘liberalism’ and the kabuki about ‘it’s all just a further expansion of the great American Vision’ are dropped and – given the desperation of the ‘liberals’ in the face of the wrack and ruin they have done so much to cause – the gloves come off.
This is not a sign of strength but of last-ditch desperation. But there’s also the element of smug cockiness that pervades every cadre of every ‘revolution’ that is just so sure it has the True Knowledge that justifies their imposing it on everybody they can.
This is today’s ‘rendezvous with Destiny’. And our country and our culture and our society are in a hell of a lot worse shape than in 1941.

People of Color victimized by corporate oppresssion deserve voting rights more than anybody. To deny workers the right to vote is to re-create slavery! It is morally irrelevant what they happen to be born in. Besides, we all know that “American” is just a code word for White!

A lady of close acquaintance, a resident of my household, today received two pieces of mail regarding her voting.
One is from the State of Florida, Department of Children and Families. The lady in question has an infant child on Medicaid. The envelope included a Voter Registration Application and a list of addresses of county election supervisors, to whom the application would be mailed.
The other is from the “Voter Participation Center”, with non-profit US Postage Paid Permit #1984 ( Orwell joke?) paying the freight. It, too, contains a Voter Registration Application and a postage paid envelope addressed to the Florida Secretary of State.
Here’s what Wikipedia says about the Voter Participation Center:

So, it’s in fact a highly partisan organization getting a free ride.
Here’s the kicker: the lady to whom these items were addressed is not a citizen of these United States and is not eligible to vote.
She is, in fact, an unmarried mother. She’s a legal permanent resident of the United States.
She’s a citizen of the Republic of South Africa, of Dutch and Saxon descent.
So, here we have an agency of the State of Florida pushing voter registration documents at a non-citizen, and a partisan Democrat activist group doing the same.
I hope it is that the State of Florida did this because it lacks the citizenship data the Department of Homeland Security has refused to provide.
I hope the Voter Participation Center did this because the lady in question is, technically, an unmarried African-American mother. Well, she’s not technically American, but she is from Africa. Her interest in getting US citizenship has declined markedly over the past 3 1/2 years, but if she does, there’ll be lots of laughs as she checks “African-American” whenever the opportunity presents itself.
In any event, there can be no more salient evidence to this Floridian that the state needs to purge the voter rolls of ineligible aliens. And stop trying to recruit them as voters with the left hand.”

I, as an Englishman living in Spain, am bewildered by the appellations “African-American” and “Native-American”. My brother, who is now an American citizen but English born, is he an “English-American” or a “European-American”?
Does the same apply to American citizens born on other countries, continents or sub-continents.

This isn’t about right or wrong, legal or illegal, it’s about getting votes for the Democratic Party any way possible. The Left considers whatever it does as best for all us citizens therefore anyway they can get the power is OK.
It is the Second Civil War.

If this law passes, Americans will start losing their identity, their liberty, their freedom for which so many died. Aliens shall -God Forbid- take over and shall prohibit the proper Americans to enter or transit in certain palxces, towns, villages, districts. Look at England and France: the Arabs cloed off whole city blocks, hung out notices saying: “THIS IS A MUSLIM AREA, FOREIGNERS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN”! So now the French and the British are foreigners in their own countries! Better to kick out those aliens before it’s too late.

Treason on the part of the unqualified actually registering and voting; treason on the part of agencies pushing those not qualified to register and vote; treason on the part of our “leaders” to not only promote and enable these activities but to prohibit the undoing of them by those charged under the law to protect the integrity of the ballot.
Florida’s legislature should pass a law, or at least a resolution interposing between Holder’s Department of (in)justice and the State of Florida. Tenth Ammendment says it MUST.
And Holder should be brought to TRUE justice for his crimes against our laws… supplying Mexico’s druglords with guns in an attempt to subvert our Constitution (second ammendment, at least), and for promoting voter fraud by denying Florida their DUTY to clean things up.

The DOJ has filed an injunction that is supposed to keep Florida from culling the voter rolls. What can Florida do? The voter rolls were compiled from voter registration cards. It is a FELONY in Florida to falsely swear that one is a citizen, for the purposes of voting. It even says so on the registration card. Florida can go to the source document, the voter registration card and based on a falsified registration get arrest warrants for each and every individual named. All illegal aliens arrested get referred to Immigration Customs Enforcement. All other arrests for voting irregularities get released on a personal bond.
While it is impossible to embarrass a liberal, the perp walk on the six o’clock news may make them uncomfortable.

Forgive me, but I do not understand this sentence in the story:

This seems to suggest that Florida is restricted in its ability to
remove legitimately registered voters; all right, but how is that fact
relevant? Are there actually time limits on said removal of
legitimately registered voters? Why would those time limits matter in
the event that you remove foreigners (who are by definition not
legitimately registered) from the voter rolls?
Sorry, but I’m confused by the legalese. Straightforward language,
please, and keep it simple for me: why, exactly, does Holder say he
can object to Florida removing illegitimately registered voters from
the rolls, and what do time limits have to do with it?
Can’t make it much simpler: Erasing the foreigners now is within the prohibited time for removing legitimate registered voters. DOJ says the time bar applies to the foreigners also. That’s about as simple as I can make it.
