What's the line about fish and guest bloggers...?

Hi, folks. Your regularly scheduled VodkaPundit is tied up with family obligations this week (if you know Steve, that’s a truly scary mental image), and he’s very generously asked me to pinch-hit for a few days.

I won’t bore you with a long biography here; if you’re at all interested, you can find a dated rundown on my own site. You’ll also find an archive of mostly-political web columns that I wrote between 1997 and 2000 (I was blogging for years before I’d ever heard the word), as well as links to other writing, much of which was sports-related.

I haven’t updated my site in over a year, but you can get a pretty good idea of where I’m coming from out of that archive. I also do a weekly column for AuburnSports.com during football season; if you’re an SEC fan, you can find the last couple of years’ worth in their archives.

So, enough about me. Martini Boy is away, time for the New Guy to play…
