Other than their inclusion in raftload of TV and movie soundtracks, and one song which barely cracked the top 20 of Billboard’s Hot 100, Concrete Blonde never enjoyed terribly much mainstream success. They did however manage to record arguably the best vampire song ever, “Bloodletting.”

Sure, it’s a total Interview with the Vampire ripoff, but it’s still good gothy fun even after almost a quarter of a century.

I read that they got back together a few years ago — might be time to check the concert circuits.
