My friend and coworker Scott Ott and his family interviewed his late grandfather, James Robert McMaster, about his service in the Second World War and enduring the Great Depression before that.

All those stories you might have thought were too boring to pay attention to when you were young, and now wish you could hear again — well, Scott has preserved a few them.
