Money in politics just makes Chris Rock so sad:
“I wish we didn’t have to stoop to this level. I wish they made it like a real fight. I mean, we’re watching the Olympics right now and everything is fair,” the comedian said on “CBS This Morning” on Thursday. “So I wish both guys could only spend the exact same amount of money and let the best man win.”
Yes, Republicans made Team Obama make the Lying Liarson Soptic ad. Because of money and cancer and stuff.
But it’s that last line that really gets me. In 2008, Obama was the one who ripped the lid off presidential election spending — probably forever. Don’t like the results, Rock? Blame your guy in the White House.
Maybe I should riff on PolitiFact and award Rock four WHHHHAAAAAAAMBULANCES for his performance.
