Ron Paul’s campaign hasn’t yet revealed all the details of his budget plan, but we know the outline:
Eliminate Education, Commerce, Energy, Interior and Housing and Urban Development.
Cut corporate tax rate to 15%.
Keep the Bush tax rates on income.
Block grant Social Security and Medicaid to the states and allow younger workers to opt out.
Scrap Obamacare, Dodd-Frank and Sarbanes-Oxley.
And — this will surely become an applause line — cut the President’s salary by 90% to match the American median income.
This is solid stuff.
