When most people think of the great John Hughes teen movies, they think Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club and, of course, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. For most folks, Weird Science just doesn’t seem to measure up.

Maybe WS is just too over-the-top. Maybe there’s something inherently creepy about a couple teenage boys conjuring themselves up a real, live Kelly LeBrock. But you know what? It’s still a great flick and it has a just-as-great title song by Oingo Boingo.

Now if you don’t cheer up, I’ll blow your face off.
