Programing Note

It looks like I’ll have to put together yet another Handicapping the House feature tomorrow or over the weekend. Since just this Tuesday, the Democrats have had six more Safe races downgraded to Likely — for a total of 13 such races in two weeks. These aren’t races the GOP has any real chance of winning, but it does force the Democrats to pull the “firewall” back ever further.

We’re witnessing the near-total collapse of the People’s Party — and not a moment too soon.
