Pissing Into the Wind

All I did was call it “a lame-ass sport.” I said nothing about soccer fans, players, etc. I just think the game itself is too much of something I don’t like or too little of something I do. Not sure. Don’t care enough to find out.

Then came a flood of angry comments & emails and & posts on other blogs, just becuase of a one line (!) dig.

The new invective will be aimed at those who would report Apple’s recent revenue problems. The company just isn’t bringing in the bucks like Steve Jobs promised.

American soccer fans remind me a lot of Apple die hards — and I bet there’s a lot of overlap between the two groups.
