The Green Line is becoming the Green Line With Razor Wire and Even Some Rebar In Places. Yep, Israel is building a fence between itself and the West Bank.

It will be an increasingly high tech affair, with motion sensors and all those goodies. And it will help prevent some terror attacks. But, it will cost the Israeli economy in three ways. First, getting Palestinian labor will be more difficult. Second, the sheer financial and material expense building the thing. Third, the financial, material, and human expense maintaining and manning it.

But peace never was cheap.
