Lies, Damned Lies, and Arafat

I’ve reached the point where I assume that anything that any high ranking Palestinian says is a lie unless I see independent evidence supporting it.

Our own government certainly bumbles and lies about it plenty — that’s just the nature of the beast. But it is a sad state of affairs when, in the case of the PA, you shouldn’t trust anyone over GS-5.
