Also at NRO, Michael Ledeen has a piece greatly expanding on my argument yesterday that the huge anti-US “protests” in Iran were a bad sign for the mullahs in charge of that theothugocracy.

Ledeen makes a great point I’d missed wading through the breathless NYT coverage — 300,000 protesters in Tehran is a low turn-out, believe it or not. Back in the early days of the revolution, the mullahs could get a million or more people out on the streets.
Do I need to mention this as more evidence in favor of my Iran First strategy?
