Democratic Mayors Only Want Terrorists, Criminals to Conceal and Carry

The posse known as “the U.S. Conference of Mayors” has come out against reciprocal conceal and carry so that American citizens with permits or licenses to conceal weapons in their home states are forced to travel vulnerably within liberal-governed cesspools and violent-crime hotspots. Or kill zones.

This gang of mayors has come forward to oppose legislation in the GOP-controlled and assassination-targeted House of Representatives along with the GOP-governed Senate.

Let’s learn which clowns are interested in helping out criminals, rapists, and terrorists:

The resolution was offered by New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, among others, and came as the Supreme Court refused to hear a challenge to a California law setting strict limits on who can carry concealed weapons.

The legislation is still in its infancy and is supported by gun-rights advocates like the NRA.

The GOP bills — introduced by Rep. Richard Hudson (R-N.C.) in the House and Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) in the Senate — are backed by the National Rifle Association, which has made passage of “concealed carry reciprocity” legislation its top congressional priority. They also have attracted widespread support from Republican lawmakers, as well as some Democrats. Neither bill has received a hearing or date for consideration yet.

Hudson has said that he has been approached by colleagues (who are probably concerned they might be shot and killed by a progressive lunatic) to “move up the timetable” on the bill’s markup.

An anti-Second Amendment group I will neither link nor name opposes the ability of a free people to protect and defend themselves.

“Under ‘Concealed Carry Reciprocity,’ Congress would gut local public safety laws and turn the weakest state’s laws effectively into nationwide laws, forcing states to allow domestic abusers, people with violent histories, and people who lack even the most basic gun safety training to carry concealed guns in public,” [REDACTED] said in a statement praising the mayors’ resolution.

Those are the people with the guns, idiot. The permitted people follow the rules and get permits, the criminals and terrorists do not. Does Rahm think the murderers slaughtering Chicago children with bullets in his city have gun permits?

The feeble-minded cartel of mayors asserted that the “goals of this legislation are completely antithetical to all of the efforts to reduce and prevent gun violence….” and “would essentially force the localities to give full faith and credit to permits that are issued on less rigorous grounds, remove local governments’ ability to maintain sensible gun standards, and keep a proper vetting process in place….”

There is no link between tough gun laws and less gun crime — we need only look at places like Chicago to see how tough gun laws have influenced crime. If we only look at Chicago, we might conclude that tough gun laws or “sensible gun laws” (wink, wink) lead to MORE CRIME. Chicago has become a killing field.  A person is shot every 2.5 hours!

Let’s get a move on that legislation.
