Public School Assistant Principal Berates, Curses at Pro-Life Teens

Abortion is a controversial subject, so it’s not particularly surprising that a high school assistant principal didn’t agree with two pro-life teens. What is surprising is how ugly he got in his disagreement:

At 2:52, assistant principal Zach Ruff says:

I’m as gay as the day is long and twice as sunny. I don’t give a f*** what you think Jesus tells me and what I should and should not be doing.

Shortly afterward, while threatening the two demonstrators with law enforcement, Ruff’s hand is visibly shaking with anger. He orders them not to speak to other students, claiming they are harassing them. He repeats this claim when a bystander gets in his face to challenge his bullying.

Ruff claims the two are “yelling” at his students, but nothing of the sort is taking place.

With his academic background, we shouldn’t be surprised:

As noted by The Blaze, “According to Ruff’s page on the school’s website, he’s in the final stages of his doctoral dissertation at Drexel University in Philadelphia ‘in their Educational Leadership and Management program, and hopes to complete his research this academic year. Mr. Ruff received his Principal Certification from Penn State Great Valley’s campus, a Masters degree from Neumann University and his undergraduate work was done in his home state of Vermont.'”

Shocking that this guy is so embedded in academia, I know.

Ruff has been placed on administrative leave, reports NBC Philadelphia. It is unclear if he is still being compensated, though such an absence is typically paid.

It’s likely that Ruff will be permitted to continue working — even though this happened while he was on the job — once this dies down. Far too many teachers think as he does, and I expect that plenty will step up to protect his job.

Progressives wonder why so many on the right want federal government out of education, but this guy is why. He is an insult to his profession and lacks an understanding of the law, but he is in charge of educating our youth, and teachers unions make such employees incredibly difficult to fire.

The thought that he may well be back at work shortly, on your dollar, is disgusting.
