Let's Remember Who The Real Enemy Is: The Clinton-Sanders Left

Is this a great primary season or what? Seldom before has the debate among Republicans — and even among conservatives — been so heated. Donald Trump has his die-hard fans, Trumpkins. Other conservatives are solidly behind Ted Cruz because many believe he is the most conservative candidate running. Others prefer Marco Rubio, mostly because they think he’s the most electable of the relatively conservative candidates.

Not only are these candidates having a go at each other — with Trump leading the field by going nuclear on anyone who threatens his frontrunner status — but their supporters do the same.

To a degree, that’s good and important. After all, conservatives are now trying to reach a consensus about who will represent them in the elections. This entire political game — the debates, the constant attacks — is all part of the vetting process. Although it’s sometimes infuriating to people who have already made up their minds, it’s nonetheless important that we go through this phase. May the best man win: it’ll end up in conservatives having the strongest possible candidate after the Republican convention. That’s a good thing.

On the other hand, with all the passions flying, I’m afraid that some of us — if not all of us! — are forgetting who the real enemy is. Yes, I think Trump would be a horrible candidate, and I believe he’s a liar. Although I respect Rubio, I have a problem with him because he’s too hungry for military adventures in the Middle East which always end up destabilizing the entire region, and because he’s simply pro-amnesty. That’s a mistake.

But, when it all boils down to it, neither Rubio nor even Trump is the real enemy: the left is. And the Left is currently represented by President Obama, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. Since Obama’s done after this year, he doesn’t matter, but Hillary and The Bern do.

Whether Hillary or Sanders becomes the Democratic nominee doesn’t matter. Both are equally bad, because they’re both members of the anti-American left, which hates everything America stands for. They hate capitalism, despise traditional moral values, and routinely cozy up to extremists who want to literally destroy America. They consider religious Christians the enemy, but are willing to strike a deal with the mad mullahs of Iran, thereby enabling them to develop a nuclear bomb in a few years, which they could use against Israel and possibly against the U.S. itself.

The Republican candidates and conservative columnists and bloggers (like myself) have to point that out time and again; every day we need to explain that although we may have a debate amongst ourselves about who will represent us best, we also realize that our real enemies have a D. behind their names. We conservatives have a family fight, but the other side belongs to an entirely different tribe altogether. And that tribe has to be destroyed.
