For the past several months, Hillary Clinton has made support for victims of sexual assault a major theme of her campaign for president. Last September, she told an audience in Iowa that rape victims “have the right to be believed.”
“Today I want to send a message to every survivor of sexual assault,” Clinton said. “Don’t let anyone silence your voice. You have the right to be heard. You have the right to be believed and we’re with you.”
When CNN aired a controversial documentary on sexual assault on college campuses, Clinton tweeted solidarity with victims of sexual assault.

But when confronted by a rape survivor about Bill Clinton’s serial sexual improprieties on Sunday in New Hampshire, Clinton refused to listen and told her she was “very rude.”
When Clinton began taking questions at a Derry town hall, Katherine Prudhomme O’Brien, a GOP state representative from Rockingham, stood up feet from Clinton and began shouting. After Clinton dispatched the protester once, O’Brien tried again during another lull in the program.
“You are very rude, and I’m not ever going to call on you,” Clinton said forcefully, looking directly at the woman. “Thank you.”
O’Brien’s shouts were inaudible to most in the audience because a chorus of Clinton supporters repeatedly booed her, but after the event, the lawmaker said she was trying to ask the 2016 candidate about her husband’s sexual impropriety decades ago.
When asked why the issue matters so much to her, O’Brien choked back tears.
“Because I’m a rape survivor myself. Of course it would matter to me,” she answered. “And as a state representative, I have constituents who tell me they’re drug addicts because they were sexually assaulted and nobody did anything. How would I not care about that!”

O’Brien said she wanted to know how in the world Clinton could say that Juanita Broaddrick and Kathleen Willey are lying when she supposedly has no idea who Juanita Broaddrick is.
“She told me this summer she doesn’t know who she is and doesn’t want to know who she is. How can she assess that they are lying, which she told someone last month?”
O’Brien was referring to a woman who had asked Clinton about Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey and Paula Jones, who have all accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct.
“I would say that everyone should be believed at first until they are disbelieved based on evidence,” Clinton said calmly before moving onto other questions.
O’Brien makes a good point. Clinton has no idea who Juanita Broaddrick is, but she’s sure she’s lying about her sexual assault? Is Hillary Clinton not the worst person on earth to be running a pro-woman campaign preaching that all victims of sexual assault should be believed?
Katherine Prudhomme O’Brien certainly thinks so. She’s been dogging Clinton over the issue for more than fifteen years, and it doesn’t look like she has any intention of stopping now.
