Sad Donkey: Dem Pollster Sees 'Huge Turnout Disadvantage' for 2014

Hope and change.

A leading Democratic pollster predicted a “sobering” turnout disadvantage for her party in this year’s midterm elections and called on Democrats to articulate “a bigger economic agenda” this fall.

“There is a huge turnout disadvantage and challenge,” Democratic pollster Celinda Lake said Tuesday at a breakfast with reporters. “There is always a challenge in turnout in an off year, but it’s really dramatic this time.”

Haven’t they been trying to articulate an economic agenda for six years now? So far it seems that all they’ve got is “More money for burger flippers.” That’s not exactly going to help the middle class people who have been out of work seemingly forever.

As I have said so many times in the past-never underestimate the ability of the GOP to completely screw up an election. The party looks fairly focused on hammering the Democrats on Obamacare so far. If it ignores the “income inequality” nonsense that the Dems are floating merely as a diversion, all should be well.

Should.
