Mexican Prison Escapee Nabbed in Texas

But…the border is as secure as ever!

A suspected escapee from a massive prison break last year in Mexico has been arrested in Eagle Pass.

U.S. Marshals on Friday arrested Gustavo Rodriguez Costilla, 24, the agency announced Monday night. Rodriguez is suspected of being one of more than 130 people who broke out of the prison in the Mexican city of Piedras Negras, across the Rio Grande from Eagle Pass. The massive escape was organized by the Zetas drug cartel in an effort to replenish its ranks, officials said.

Deputy Marshals looking for Rodriguez at the request of the Mexican Attorney General’s Office found him hiding in a home in Eagle Pass, according to a news release. They found two firearms in the house.

Not to worry, he’s a harmless sort. The charges that landed him in prison only included possession of firearms and grenades.

No word on his opinion of the Schumio immigration bill.

Our strange times cause me to wonder: Will the Obama regime allow him to be deported?
