Tonight’s debate in South Carolina begins at 8 pm eastern on CBS. The 90 minute debate features foreign policy, which going by experience should favor former US ambassador to China Jon Huntsman, TX Gov. Rick Perry, former MA Gov. Mitt Romney, and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, not necessarily in that order. Rep. Ron Paul’s more isolationist views separate him from the other candidates and from most of the GOP base. Given recent answers on the “right of return” and negotiating with hostages, foreign policy may be Herman Cain’s weakest area. Bonus points if he can work 9-9-9 into an answer. We’ll see. Rep.
