Maloney Baloney: Make Trafficking a Federal Crime

From House Oversight on Fast and Furious:

New York Rep Carolyn Maloney is using the Oversight Investigation to promote her proposed new law to “stop trafficking.”

Like Rep Norton, she is ignorant of US Code, Title 18, Section 922, which has already banned all trafficking violations Maloney claims are currently some sort of loophole.

Maloney claims that violators usually receive probation, so law enforcement is handicapped. She should be addressing Obama/Holder’s DOJ, which is responsible for decreasing ATF referrals to federal prosecutors.
