AFL-CIO official brags aboug 'intercepting' opponents' email

Jim Hoft has the video. The AFL-CIO leader in question is Nick Bernardino, general manager of the Orange County Employees Union. That’s right — a government worker union. When Bernardino isn’t playing KGB, he enjoys threatening Republicans:

the stereotypical “thug” that speaks of his Italian heritage and jokes about showing up at Orange County Republican Party Chairman Scott Baugh’s home’s when upset with him, “and I don’t want to go there to deliver cannoli and a little bit of wine.”

To lines like this, and bragging about doing things that get liberals in a snit when applied to al Qaeda terrorists, Bernardino’s audience responds with laughter and applause.

Bernardino’s comments have been referred to the OC district attorney.
