News broke this morning that 20 percent of the latest round of ObamaCare waivers went to a single Congressional district, and that district just happens to be Nancy Pelosi’s district. What are the odds, huh? I’d say they’re about the same as the White House’s Office of Budget and Management suddenly deciding to unionize, and just by coinci-dink choosing to affiliate with an union that’s inside the Richard “I talk with the Obama peeps every day and twice on Sunday” Trumka union behemoth. Just another coincidence.
Sarah Palin sees the ObamaCare waivers for what they are:
“Unflippingbelievable! No, wait, it is believable,” Palin said in an email to TheDC. “Seriously, this is corrupt. And anyone who still supports the Pelosi-Reid-Obama agenda of centralized government takeovers of the free market and the corresponding crony capitalism is, in my book, complicit.”
The remarkable thing about the Obama administration’s version of corruption is just how widespread and open it all is. Most corrupt gangs at least have the decency to try to conceal their crimes. But not this administration; they’re not even trying to hide it. They not only ram a massive and totally unread bill through on a partisan basis against the will of the majority, they then use that law for the express purpose of rewarding friends and punishing enemies. That’s what these waivers are about. Meanwhile, they sic the NLRB on voter-approved right to work laws, sue Arizona to keep lawlessness going strong on the border, and brazenly lie about nearly everything else (I’m assuming that there’s something somewhere they’re not lying about, but honestly I can’t think of anything at the moment).
