Supremes go 8-1 in favor of Phelps

Fred Phelps is a repugnant individual who leads a nasty little church, but freedom of speech isn’t just for people we like or hearing sweet words. Today, SCOTUS ruled 8-1 that Phelps and his band of haters have the constitutional right to protest at the funerals of fallen American troops. Just as Ilya Shapiro predicted back in October. Right down to which justice would be the lone dissenter.
