Kevin and I wanted to make sure we got something recorded before I flew back to the desert, so we decided to ramble about comedy for an episode.
Spoiler alert: there was even less show prep than usual.
We're pondering how comedy plays out across the different generations one might find in an audience these days. One thing is certain: references that we have been comfortable with for decades don't work with the younger kids and tend to go down like the... well, you know.
Apologies to all if this episode wanders afield a lot even for us — that's on me. I pressed Kevin into service with very little notice. Longtime fans of the podcast know that we're fun no matter what though.
